Wow!!
What an amazing celebration we had today. In fact we had so many things to celebrate that we had to have an extra long assembly so we could share all our special talents. We had lots of work to share including some lovely pictures and writing. We also had our steel pan band playing so songs!
We love sharing our work and we hope you like reading about it.

Celebration assembly 9th March

Mrs Allen and Mrs Yeldon help the fort today (although it was a little quiet as year 4 were at Stubbington Study centre on their residential – do check out the blog) and what a celebration it was.  Lots of focused work happening in year 1 and 5 and Year 1 treated us to an amazing retelling of The Titanic using actions! Sports day . . .

Another outside event, another glorious day for Titchfield Primary School! Sports day is always a fun day here at Titchfield and this year didn’t disappoint. The morning consisted of team games held in classes in a round robin. Mr B enjoyed being in charge of the mic and kept everybody updated on the scores, which were incredibly close!! We entered the race afternoon with 10 points between 1st, 2nd and third place. We had egg and spoon races, relay races, sack races and obstacle races which went very well. The parents kept us entertained by having a parent’s race while the scores were being counted and the FOTS very kindly gave each and every child an ice lolly.
Mrs George handed in the final results and it was a win for the yellow team with blue coming in second place by only two points, green team came third and red team just behind in fourth place.
Mr B commented on the good sportsmanship of the school.
A very special thank you to Mrs Beacher – another successful sports day!

Mr B last year, Mr Howard this year – who’s getting a gunking next year?

Wow – how lucky were we with the weather this year!?
After a sprinkling of rain as “setting up” was under way, the sun steadily sneaked its way out and bathed Titchfield Primary’s playing field with glorious sunshine. This year’s fayre was enjoyed by so many of you and we would like to thank you all for supporting us once again. You all helped raise an amazing £3,400 which will go towards an exciting outside development plan to happen over the next 9 months – watch this space!
Thank you to everybody who helped to make the fayre a huge success, please enjoy these fantastic pictures and happy holidays – from the fots!
